This book not only addresses the treatment of women working in the so called mans world. It also proves that if you don't do what the man says, you will be punished for not adhering to the so called TA rules. I have two brothers,, my father and husband who all worked for the NYCTA. While reading this book I was not surprised by the treatment the writer received. After listening to some of the stories they would tell about how someone would do damage to anothers personal property and think they were doing the right thing. We need more people like her to stand up for the little person who doesn't have the fight in them to pursue their rights. I would recommend this book to everyone to read. It makes you think how things can truly take a toll on ones life.
